Nouveaunoise Return

Nouveaunoise were making waves this time two years ago. After garnering much attention following support slots for Super Extra Bonus Party and Messiah J and The Expert, not to mention some phenomenal headline dates in Galway Dublin and Cork things were looking very bright indeed for the West coast duo. But then they disappeared. Lost to the ether... or so we thought.

Over the last few months www.myspace.com/nouveaunoise  has been reporting some mild activity. Slim, yet encouraging signs of a revival. Then, just a couple of weeks ago Messrs. Gaffney and Conway dropped the bomb that their debut album Paraphrase Accolade is due to explode upon us unsuspecting earthlings in May 2010.

Combining organic electronica with soothing instrumentation, grooving beats and live synths  Nouveaunoise are a breath of fresh air on the Irish music scene. As a Live outfit the duo are nothing short of astounding. One look at the mass array of diverse instruments, leads and hardware on the stage would bedazzle the most adept musical virtuoso.
This news adds itself to  a mighty encouraging sign that 2010 will be a year in which we witness the magic return to the Irish music scene.

The debut single Cinnte will be available for download on Double A-side next week. Keep an eye on www.myspace.com/nouveaunoise for more info.
